We are sad to inform you that Ann Walker (Hodkin) (1964) died recently. Ann was a member of the Committee from 2004 until 2023.Throughout her tenure Ann worked unstintingly for the APS and we thank her for it.
Ann was key to the development of the IMM APS website and for taking photos of the different year groups and activities at the reunion for both the website and the Journal.
It is thanks to Ann that the Facebook page was set up. She worked hard to convince the Committee not only of its worthwhileness but also that it was not essential to have one’s own Facebook Account to access it. We are pleased that she managed to convince us!
When she retired from the Committee in 2023, she worked hard to support and ensure a very smooth handover to the person who took over as Website Coordinator. The level of detail and advice that she was able to pass on has been truly appreciated by all of us on the Committee and those who access the website
